    computer unable to start

    Hello All,
I cannot start up my computer.I only get the message "Your computer was unable to start -start up repair is checking for system problems" There is also a panel offering to restore the computer using System Restore. However, I cannot choose this option as, when the information panel appears it disables my mouse and doesn't react to the keyboard. I have left the computer open for hours in case it was a lengthy operation but nothing appears to be happening!
I have Windows 7 Home Premium
    Thanks,,'

Burn the bootable CD of partition wizard (last box on the webpage) to CD and boot the system with that CD. Then take a good picture of what it shows on the screen and post that here.
