    System restore not working

Hi. I am having a problem getting my SYSTEM RESTORE to save my restore points. It was working fine, but now refuses to work!
When I attempt to save a restore point I get an error message as follows.
    0x81000203
    .

Can anyone who has had this problem and sorted it please give me the benefit of their experience.

    many thanks

Do you get the error message when you create a restore point? Or when performing a system restore?

    1. Do you get this error while opening system restore window or while trying to restore the computer?
    2. Are you aware of any changes made to the computer, prior to the issue?
    Method 1:
Users who had installed TuneUp Utilities 2009 / 2010 / 2011, have known to face ths issue.

    TuneUp Utilities 2009 / 2010 / 2011 Turbo Mode block system protection / restore.

If you have such applications, then try disabling them and checking for the issue.
