A backup SW thats similar to Macrium

I backup my PC with Macrium Reflect which is a 6 star application in my opinion but I need another sw that's as easy to use and as reliable as Reflect for a second layer of backups.

Please tell me if I'm not making sense here.

    Yeah, you're making sense.

Candidates would be Acronis True Image, Aomei, and EaseUS. Probably more I can't think of right now. Some free, some paid. All make images.

You might also consider backing up your data (not Windows) with something that does not use imaging.

I agree with ignatzatsonic. I use Macrium Reflect just to backup my OS and programs on my SSD and use FreeFileSync to back up the data on my HDDs. It would take forever to backup my data by imaging, even if using incremental or differential imaging, and would require far more disk space. FreeFileSync is so fast, I can do daily backups onto two backup HDDs in just minutes.

Do any of the programs you stated support backup and restore from a USB hard disk?

I just backed up the whole of my C drive with AOMEI Backupper.

How do you pronounce AOMEI? Is it aye-owe-me?

What drives me crazy is why life saving software like AOMEI Backupper and Macrium reflect are free. Don't get me worg, I like free stuff.
