Bootmgr not found, but it will boot if I ignore CD boot.

I am having an interesting issue:

My SSD drives power connector got damaged so it lost power randomly, I have since fixed it and tried to boot from it into Windows. It kept saying it wasn't valid so I launched from CD and checked diskpart to see if it was the active partition, it wasn't. I did startup repair multiple times only for it to get me nowhere so I decided I would just fresh install (I don't keep anything on my ssd anyway).

After fresh installing and choosing the SSD as the boot device, it kept saying my boot mgr was not found error (CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart). The weird thing is, if I get it to boot from CD-ROM drive, but don't hit any key to boot from it, it will boot into the OS installed on my SSD fine!

Anyone know a solution to this or why it would be happening?
