I think I am out of luck here but here goes. I was advised by Tosiba to encrypt my files in their product Back-up Easy. This was to correct the fact that my portable hard drive would not work correctly. I did so and sure enough it worked and I have a full back-up now created. This process made me use a password. Now,I want to view the files I just back-ed up and cannot. They tell me the only way I can do this is to restore the back-up. Seems crazy. I simply want to view certain files to see what they contain. Cannot. Crazy . Is there a way or program that will allow me to view these files? Thanks. Had I known this would be the result,I would never of done this.
