Reformatted but lost bookmarks

Hey everyone i had some pretty important bookmarks saved in chrome before i reformatted my computer. I forgot to save them but I still have the windows.old folder that contains all the files from before. Is there any way to retrieve them from that folder?

If you had synced your chrome with your gmail account then you're in luck and it should all be backup. If not, try and see if you can find it in the windows.old folder.

The bookmarks location for chrome is at: Drive:\Users\USER NAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default.
