    Can't delete old restore points

    hi,

i'd really like to make some space on my os drive by deleting my restore points but it wont work. i make regular image backups so i dont need them. as seen below it appears that the files have been deleted but they are still available in restore and when i go into the System Volume Information folder they are all still there. also when i move the slider all the way to the left, it reads maximum usage at 1% (9.35GB). is ther any way to lower this? 9 GB is way more than i need.

    thanks for your help.

Run this command in an elevated command prompt: (just paste the below command into cmd)

System Protection - Change Disk Space Usage

    vssadmin resize shadowstorage /For=C: /On=C:/MaxSize=350MB

Note that 350MB is the minimum size allowed.
