    How to restore windows 8 tablet locked by bitlocker


    i brought a second hand windows 8.1 Dell Venue 11 pro tablet online, and about 3 weeks later it boots on some bitlocker thing, ive tried everything and cant find my recovery key, is there a way i can restore it. i have no important data on there so anything to get this bitlocker off will be great.

I made one of my thumb drive locked with BitLocker and when I use it on an XP machine it can only be used in read only files. Do any of you guys know how to make it read and write. On the 7 machine it can do both. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
