Create windows 7 recovery USB in Windows 8.1?

Hey guys I really need your help.

My Windows 7 system (64bit) is fried (system volume corrupt) and want to us this method:

Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console

Now I hsve a clean 8gb usb flash drive and a new laptop with 64bit Win 8.1 and now I want to create a recovery USB...but I can't find it anywhere!! It is so hard to google " how to create a windows 7 recovery USB in Windows 8"

I tried the normal "recovery" function in Win 8 but then my old pc boots up with a win8 logo, and I just really need the the files that are on the Win 7 hard drive.

    Can anyone pleaase help me??

Anything you create from the Wim8.1 box is going to be Windows 8, not Windows 7.

You can try downloading an official Win7 ISO file from the link, burning it to DVD, and booting from that: Windows 7 Direct Download Links, Official Disk Images from Digital River

Thanks Mark! I am downloading one now. But it is not possible to boot with a USB (this iso file?) otherwise I'll have to go to the store and buy some DVD's which i'll never use haha
