    USB is not being read.

I can see the usb but I can not access it and I fear the files may have been deleted. I tried managing the device but and changing the drive path but the computer did not even register that as an option. The usb is a SM3255aa Memory Bar with very important information. I have tried Jetflash and Testdisk and both fail to see the usb. However i can see that it says F:// on my computer. It continues to say "Please insert disk into removable disk F:". I don't know what else to do exactly from this. I just recently removed the usb from my tv (it worked fine then) by the time it reached my computer, something happened, I'm not sure what and I am panicking. Please help.

First of all welcome to the seven forum.

Do you know when it first happened and what you were doing at the time:

It has just happened within the last 3 hours. I don't know what else to say besides that.

You can use a restore point and say go back 3 or 4 days. You wont lose any of your documents of files.

    System Recovery Options

    See if this helps you.
