    Restoring to factory image

I am trying to restore an ASUS Aspire 5253-BZ602 from a factory image. An unqualified individual tried to solve some problems on this computer by installing Windows 7 Ultimate...he did so with pirated software. I have removed all important documents to an external drive and would like to restore to factory image. Judging by the blues Windows 7 decal, I am assuming it came with 7 Starter. I cannot find that option. It is not one of the "System Recovery Options". Thanks in advance for your help!

This should work with an Asus. You must remember that once you reinstall, the restoration partition may become corrupt or even overwritten and the restore will not work
    To start the recovery process:
    1. Restart the system.
    2. While the Acer logo is showing, press <Alt> + <F10> at the same time to
    enter the recovery process.
    3. Refer to the onscreen instructions to perform system recovery.

Thanks...Oddly, the F8 "route" will not get you there. Problem solved!
