    Acer eRecovery Management: Hard Drive Configuration Error


    I am sorry to keep being a pest, but this site is my only way to get things resolved.

    Anyway, on my Acer laptop, I have the eRecovery Management software. When I was trying to restore the OS to factory defaults, it gave me an error that said "Hard drive configuration is not set to factory default. Restore aborted".

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    You somehow deleted or formatted the recover partition

Hi, my computer is not working. It won't get past the start up screen so I am trying to do the Acer eRecovery Management. I can pull it up just fine but the blue circle (thinking) has been there for awhile and won't finish loading..is that normal? any ideas? Thanks!
