Windows backup cant uncheck drive

Hi guys
ran into some trouble recently,
reinstalled my OS on my SSD, left my D:\ with all my installs on it
however when i go to windows backup i cant uncheck my D:\ for some reason.

i tried bootrec /fixboot in system option via cd but didnt change anything

anything i can do to fix this?

D:\ is a HDD
C:\ is a SSD

Windows Backup is backing up an external drive as well as my C drive
Hello all. This is puzzling me, my windows backup is also backing up one of my external drives (I have 4) as well as my 'C' drive (yes, the one I do want to back up). I am looking all over trying to find where I can stop this. I am backing up to an external drive, and no, its not the same drive...

Windows Update settings won't stay uncheck.
Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update\Change settings Important updates Microsoft Update & Software notifications will not stay unchecked. I unchecked them & re-open Control Panel\System and Security\Windows Update\Change settings the checkmark returns. Any fix?

Hi. Although my laptop only takes 7 seconds to start up, I took a screen shot of everything thats starts up at start up. All is checked. Which of these can I uncheck if you can tell me please. Thx Or may be easier to tell me which to keep checked.

Windows 7 Backup identifies wrong drive as a system drive
This is a silly problem to be having. I have two operating systems in a dual boot system. Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit, C drive, (where I am trying to run the backup from) and Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit (I drive). It used to work fine, I think round about 4 weeks ago or so. I am not sure...

Can't uncheck read-only attribute
I got a major problem. All folders i create have automatically the read-only attribute (blue box, not checked), and i can't get rid of it. I searched the forum but didn't find anything that would be of much help. Can anyone help me please? :cry::sleepy:
