Setting automatic System Restore points in Win7 Pro

When I had XP Pro, I could set what my System Restore [SR] points were; daily, hours, etc. now, every time I open SR, it has a 2/15/2015 date or similar. I've gone as far as trying to follow MS's suggested method but what does "Type a description to help you identify a restore point" mean? Do I type in: "Daily? 48 hours? I've used SR in the past to correct some issues and would like to have it functioning. But when I now open the function, there is nothing but really historical dates....

    Thanks to all in advance.

What it is asking you to do is type in something like this.
    Example:

My Restore Point after Adobe Update.
This way you will know later why you created a Restore Point.

Here is a tutorial by Brink I recommend reading.
