    Cannot make a system image

First of all the internal HD is a SSD.

I decided to make a system image but windows tells me that I cannot because the specified volume is formatted as FAT32.
When I look at the drive in Disk Management, sure enough it says that partition 0 is FAT32 and partition 1 is NTFS.

    How did that happen?

Anyway, can I reformat the the whole "hybrid" SSD as NTFS?

Is it safe to reformat a System partition?

Should I use a 3rd party disk management program, or just go to the Command Prompt and execute the --- C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs ---command

    check out MiniTool Partition Wizard....

Mine shows an option to convert a partition from NTFS to FAT, perhaps the reverse option will show for you... (I'd make sure you have any important data backed up first, however)
