Turn it off here. Then delete any restore points saved on E if you don`t want them.

Turning it off should delete them automatically, but it`s best to make sure.

    I don`t use system restore, that`s why it`s off on C.

If you want to exclude E: from system restore but want to leave SR turned on you can leave the C: drive left as default settings and set the E: drive to off or set it to "restore previous versions of files only". That way you can keep the previous versions of files (shadow copies are a handy feature when you accidentally change/delete a file) but they won't get altered when you do a system restore and E: won't show up in the list when you do a restore.

Or as AddRam says you can turn it off on all drives.
I tend to rely on system images for my C: Drive more than SR but that depends on how you like to have things set up.

    Hi,

Thanks for the info about removing E drive from Restore Pt. Somewhere in the restore process the E drive was not "chk for restore" so I went ahead and only C was restored. However the E drive still appeared as a drive to be restored along with C drive. I wanted to remove the E drive from that list to avoid future problems.

I searched all over the restore pt pop-up & could not find where I could de-select the E drive, all options were grayed out.

Another error just appeared: "System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection."

Maybe this has something to do with the restore pt prob?? I'm going to post on the appropriate forum.
