    Restoration on my laptop

I have to restore my laptop. I was told that it would erase everything. I asked if I bought a flash drive could I at least save my pics. I was told yes. They wanted to charge me because my membership did not cover me. But I was told I could do it myself then take my laptop back. They could not tell me how to go about doing this other than that it had to be done in safe mode. I have never used a USB flash drive. How do I know what has been saved in the drive? I figure I have to click on safe mode I am on the page then insert the drive. Again how do I know what has been saved? Are there other steps that need to be taken? Any step by step instructions would be appreciated. Any help is welcome. Thanks in advance!!

Forget the safe mode. That is not required. A flash drive is the same as any old folder - it is just a storage place. If the laptop is in working order, just copy the pictures to the flash drive.

And if the laptop does not work, here is a method that will recover your pictures ==> Emergency Kit - save your files from a dead OS

Is there no way you can get to the internet - brother, sister, friends, internet cafe, etc.

    No internet

Like I said in my last post I have no internet access to try the site you sent I am using a tablet at this time until I can get my laptop fixed. I may just wait until I have the money and take it to get repaired.

Yeah, without access to another PC it will be difficult to fix your problem.
