    Hi,

If I will go with one . Do I need to every time copy the folder from pendrive and paste into in external drive and then again a deeper search ( which takes about 3-4 hours) and again the same process?

Option 2 in my post #50: buy a larger pendrive 128GB/256GB to reduce the number of TestDisk runs.

Google and find out or raise your query in TestDisk Forum.

One last suggestion before I close on this thread: Download , install and run Getdataback Simple. https://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm Scan your drive. If it shows all your files, to copy to your external in single run buy a license paying USD80.

You have to choose between time and money. Either way you are only paying for your follies of not backing up of your important data to another drive and converting the drive to be recovered as GPT and installing Windows on it :). (I never use ) :)

    Good Luck.

    Hello Jumanji,

I didn't find my 64GB pendrive so I tried with 16 GB. When I copied the data I plugged it out and again plugged in for copy another (without again deeper search) and luckily it worked :).

I did not get my one drive data. There was only a one folder less than 1 GB. Actually I had copied this drive data from laptop 8-9 months before and deleted it from laptop. Is there any way that I can recover it from my laptop? I do not have made any changes to the drive from that time, but have saved new things in that drive. So just want your suggestion on it if I can make one try on it.

    Thank you!
