    Image with Macrium

    Hello,
After updating Macrium I made a full new image of the system disk (did some guesswork) used option 1
as on attached screenshot, or should I use option 2 ? However, it was verified.
The old image done some days ago - shell I delete it ?
    Appreciate answers.
    Thanks

Okay yep you can use either
Also under the disk you have checked you can use the Actions listing for making or recovering
Although to recover C drive you'll have to boot to the recovery disk.

    I don't use either 1 or 2.

    I choose "image this disk".

Try all 3 and see what the next screen is.

You may find that the next screen is the same--there's just several ways to get there. You still have several screens to go through before you are committed and can't turn back.

What really matters is that you choose the correct function (imaging or cloning), the correct hard drive, and the necessary partitions on that hard drive. The rest of it can be left at default.

On the final screen before you commit, you are asked if you want to save an XML file. I never do. It's similar to a short cut so you can quickly make another image at a later date---rather than walk through the steps one at a time.
