Well, on second thought, and reading a bit more on another thread, I want to say thanks. This wasn't as hard as I thought.

Here's part of what I did:

Robocopy /m /s D:\NCES-Projects W:\Backup\P /log+:w:backup_log.txt
robocopy /m /s D:\NCES-Support W:\Backup\S /log+:w:\backup_log.txt
robocopy /m /s D:\NCES-Admin W:\Backup\N /log+:w:\backup_log.txt
robocopy /m /s E:\ W:\Backup\E /log+:w:\backup_log.tx

And All I have to do is move each evening's run into a date-stamped folder, and I'm golden.

Thanks again for that. I found and tweaked the StampMe.cmd and now I have what I was looking for.
Now I have both the secure disk imaging backups and this more informal daily incremental file backup that's more easily accessed.

I have A LOT of files (AutoCAD dwgs, Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, .PDF files, etc.) sorted into Project Number folders and I need the Daily Incremental Backups to save ONLY those projects and files I worked on THAT DAY, and allows me to save each day separately in sequence.

you need to check out 2brightsparks.com and their syncbackpro the paid version, not syncbackfree.
their website used to have a nice chart showing the extra stuff in the paid version versus the free version, i can't find it at the moment. I find it hard to believe syncbackpro does not meet your requirements. you can download it for a 30-day trial.
