    WHS...I agree. Windows has gotten better with tools, but still not quite there. I will look into Macrium and some of the other advice given on this post.

    I just joined this site, although I've used it quite a bit in the past and it has been very helpful. So, I will consider this post & issue SOLVED. If anyone searches for this topic perhaps my own research and playing around might help someone else, in addition to the solutions offered here by you & others.

    When you use Macrium a few times you will understand why many of us use Macrium. It's easy to use and it works.

    I use Macrium for backups and Clones.
    Another plus is if I have a problem using Macrium i can give whs a call and get help.
