Cant create system image on NAS - network drive doesn't show

I want to create a system image and store it on my NAS but Windows doesn't find it in the list for network locations when i browse for it.

My NAS is fully available from My Computer so it should work.

Im using Win 7 Ultimate SP1. I have tried to restart both the NAS and my computer serveral times.

Is there some setting or something i should fix first?

I would try mapping the network drive to a local drive letter. Maybe the backup utility will see it then.

That sure does look mapped. According to this post, Win7 HP does not support networked drives. You need Pro or better. The solution is to back up to a local file, then export, or to use third party software. Many here like Macrium. I use AOMEI.

Yes i had Aomei before but i uninstalled it couse i found a better solution to what i needed Aomei for that time.
But if this doesnt work with Windows own image backup i have to reinstall Aomei.

I cant understand whats the problem, the NAS has the right format(NTFS), it wants me to write a user and pass and it says in the description i should use the ones to my computer, but i cant click OK after i have filled in that info.

    edit: solved!
it seems that you just cant browse for your network location, you have to manually write down the adress and the first time i tried that i didnt do it correctly. But now it works :)
