There are other data recovery programs like Recuva but I suspect the file system has been wiped.
Hopefully you didn't have anything you can't live without on the drive. It may not be much comfort but it is always a good idea to keep at least 2 backups of very important data on 2 or more drives. I have system images on 3 separate drives.

Well it finished after 8 hours but nothing came back, it didn't even give you a message saying unable to retrieve data just a window saying click finish.
If you had run Partition Recovery Wizard, it does not retrieve your data. When it completes the scan, it will only show you a Window with details of any partition/s found - Lost/Deleted as well as Existing.

Did you run a Quick Scan or Full Scan? Answer.

Post a screenshot of the Window that appears on completion of the scan.

( From the Windows Disk Management screenshot, it appears that your drive has been formatted. It also shows it is 100% free which can happen after formatting and a new NTFS has been written overwriting any that had existed.)

If the partition could be recovered, we shall do that. Then you can see all the data in the present drive itself.

So run the Full Scan again. On completion( you said 8 hours, let it take even 10 hours - I am not running away :)) post the screenshot of the Window that appears. I would be surprised if it is a blank Window with only the Finish and Cancel buttons.

If Partition Recovery fails for any reason, we shall try some other Data Recovery software to retrieve the data.

If you hadn't wiped the drive clean with some wiping software or DiskPart Clean all , the data should be there and retrievable - even after formatting. You may require another HDD with sufficient space to copy the data.

    Good to hear :)
I suggested Partition Wizard and another recovery option. I'll leave it to you.
