How can I backup and recover BitLocker drive if using Acronis?

    Hello windows seven,

    I was thinking for this...

Local Disk C --> either bitlocker encrypted or unencrypted.
Local Disk D --> bitlocker encrypted partition and a space for backup

How can I backup and recover if using Acronis?

No way either. Acronis cannot unlock the the partition.

Macrium Reflect maybe worth a try, 'cause MR can do backups from within a particular Windows session. Dunno, haven't tried MR with Bitlocker on.

    Thanks Roland,

This is a very late reply.... So the acronis doesn't have ability to backup at windows session like macrium reflect, I see. I think macrium reflect will do the same as the traditional windows backup. Anyway, I got another drive placing backup my system and to encrypted partition for data files.

Before, I felt so bad I lost my files in businesses. All contacts and photos of the projects were gone. I should have secure it in the beginning.
