    Is my computer dying ?

    Hello Forum
Yesterday late night I made a differential macrium backup, when finished I turned off computer.
This morning started computer, the regular bios lines came up the screen, disks were recognized, then all went black, only a prompt flashing. I pressed the reset, again few lines and all black again. Could not turn off computer, so I had to pull out the power plug. After some time I connected power again, started computer with the rescue disk in the drive, macrium restore began, computer started normal, finally got my windows back again, checked hardware in control panel - everything OK, all installed programs in place. Ran antivirus - no findings.
Is this an indication that my pc is dieing or something else ?
What checks do you recommend to run - if any ?
    Answers will be appreciated
    Thanks
    Motim

Hello Motim again mate have you done any checks on the hard drive or the RAM?? if not then try the memtest at least first as I see you have the minimum RAM it should not be long to test up though it does take a while. RAM - Test with Memtest86+ Make sure it runs for at least 8 passes any less and you may as well not bother and it is the only memtest we recommend here. But if the errors come up reasonably early then you can stop the test and depending on how many sticks of RAM one has means testing the different sticks again but I am assuming you have just the one stick of course.
