    Restoring Data After Factory Restore

    Hi to the forum

guys i am trying to restore my data from a series of data recovery discs which i created using samsung recovery solution.as you will recall from my threads in performance and maintainance i had corrupted files but various solutions failed to solve the problem(sfc, repair install etc) so i resorted to factory restore.my problem is the autoplay function seems to "hang" telling me "searching for files" or some such message.i also noticed that the green data bar on the "E" drive has turned red.i also notice that my "C" drive has been renamed from
local disc C to data recovery disc 2.i am curious to know what you guys think i am doing wrong.

    thanks in advance.

    hi to all

as a follow-up to the post yesterday i made a discovery.the disc that was turning my "E" drive red happened to be damaged so that solved that.as a matter of interest all of my other data discs restored perfectly thankfully.only thing i am still concerned about is the re-naming of my "Local disc "C" to being called "Data recovery disc 2".seems strange since there were 5 discs in all.i have tried re-naming it back to "Local disc C: without any success.if any of you guys could provide me with a little of your superior knowledge i would be most appreciative.

    kudos
