    Restoring Win7 on truecrypt-encrypted HDD

For years I have been using TC on Win-XP. In case of a damaged OS I used a Reatogo-StartCD (s.th. similar like Bart) together with Acronis TrueImage (the so-called PlusPack) and TC. My backups are on a separate TC-encrypted HDD.
I tried to do the same now with a laptop under Win7. However, Reatogo does only work with XP.
Therefore, it would NOT be possible to do a recovery of the OS-partition!
The TC-start disk is of no help (because Trueimage cannot be included there).
The TI-start disk is of no help, either (because it does not contain TC to open the encrypted containers on the external HDD).
A win7 Start-CD doesn't help at all, because it is containing neither of them.
The Acronis helpdesk so far could not help (seems to consist only of stupid callcenter girls).
I would not mind using a differnet backup software (which one?), but the problem would still be the same: how to back up and restore the encrypted Win7 OS to/from an external HDD?

Welcome to the forum not clear what the problem is if you take an image with acronis it's just an image of the drive and it will restore it encrypted or not

Sure, TI doesn't care, if data are encrypted or not, BUT: The backup itself is on a TC-encrypted HDD. Therefore, if I start with the TI-bootdisk, it does not even SEE the backup file on the encrypted external drive!
So, all I need is a boot disk that has TC AND TI on it.
