main partition is corrupted, cant get into windows 7

Hi, ill preface this by saying i dont have alot of background information to give since i cant get into windows 7 anymore, so all of this will be mostly from my recollection.

Level of windows expertise: minimal when it comes to DOS/programming/BIOS etc, otherwise slightly over average

I kept getting the BSOD when i would force the CPU to do a graphics intense operation such as multiple tabs in a browser running flash content. Then over time even the smallest of operations would give me the BSOD such as loading a USB stick with files. From what i recall, the BSOD mentioned iastor.sys, which i believe is something to do with intel rapid storage technology, whatever that is.

Now when i boot windows it will endlessly run chkdsk in DOS, rebooting itself after each completion. If i skip the chkdsk it will go to the windows blue loading wallpaper then auto reboot. Im typing this from the linux distro that im using from a USB live boot, and i found out that the main harddrive partition that contains all my valuable files is unaccessible. Theres a couple screenshots below that i copied from my post on a linux forum.

Overall question: how do i fix this partition problem so that i can get back into windows 7?

I only have 1 low quality USB stick to work with, i can use a friends computer to put stuff on the USB stick. Zero money, as in absolutely no money. No screwdriver to open up the computer either.

    Thank you for your responses

Welcome to the forum. Best bet is to to disk makers site and get their test software as the disk may be damaged then boot from Windows DVD and run chkdsk c: /f it may run better than from hd

    Hi ooten,

I would recommend that you create a bootable Win PE pendrive with your friend's PC, boot your PC from it and post a screenshot of Windows Disk Management. Create Bootable USB or CD/DVD based on Windows PE with AOMEI PE Builder

Most here will be unfamiliar with Linux to resolve any issue with it. With Windows Environmnet, the experts here will be more comfortable trying to resolve the issue.( I am not an expert with Windows booting issues . My part ends with the above suggestion. )
