Can't open Windows 7 x64 Mounted Image

    Can't open Windows 7 x64 Mounted Image


    alright so i just finished downloading a copy of windows 7 x64 from the internet and when i mount the image to a virtual drive using PowerISO i get and error.

    here is when i try to open it from Computer




    then i tried going into the directory if the mounted image and i got this error.





    I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x86 and i want to use x64.

    You cant run the 64bit installer within a 32bit environment... Burn the ISO file as a disc image and install from boot....

    i noe that, i burned it to a DVD and booted from the installer and then i got an error that it could not load the driver. i know that my processor and everythint else in my pc can run it because i have already ran windows vista x64. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

    well it surely seems your cpu does NOT support x64. As you are able to run a x64 environment even from x86 in fact. mounting it should not be a problem AT ALL. you are running some cracked illegal version of win 7 x64 and/or your poweriso.

    no i have intel core 2 duo p8400

    THAT SUPPORTS X64 FOR SURE
    and i got my win7 from my friends... wrks for him
    he got it from MSDN

    sent it to me... cuz it wrks for 3 pc's remember?
    so ya....

    try 7zip and extract the iso with that and see how it goes :)
