    Macrium V5 free problems


    I've been using Macrium V5 (free) on one PC for many years and it worked fine for my needs. Within the last week the installed version failed to open correctly. I end up with white rectangular window.
    I installed V6.3.1855 and it doesn't appear to have this issue. I have many V5 images that appear to backward compatible with V6. I know V7 is the latest.

    I'm puzzled why the old V5 started to behave this way - more a curiosity than anything.

    I've been getting temporary white windows with several programs, so I'll watch this thread and learn alongside you from the wisdom and experiences of others because I have no answer for these white windows.

Macrium Free vs Macrium Pay

I am using the free version. I have visited the site and read what the pay version does. As far as I can tell the incremental backups is really the only thing that seems worthwhile. I was just curious if anyone has tried the pay version and found a feature that made it worth paying for. Thanks,
