I remember a migrate this/migrate that, in short, a migration utility for Windows XP was Acronis Migrate Whatever -- however, I do not have a recommendation for Windows 7.

LadyF recommended MR; I was remembering Acronis Migrate Easy from the Windows XP days, which boasted of being able to migrate bits and pieces i.e. a user account or the whole thing. I never used it. I thought there was something similar for Windows 7 -- MR it is! :)
