Error 0xc0000098 on a very old acer laptop

Hello guys, i need help from a problem driving me crazy. While my laptop was shutting down i accidentally took of the charging cable (battery doesn't work). When i rebooted the laptop was on a black screen with a blinking _. So i put on my windows 7 USB (Kingston datatraveler 16gb 3.0) and used the troubleshoot tool on system repair. It said no OS could be found. When i rebooted i got the 0xc0000098 bcd error. So i tried booting from my usb again and it doesn't work. It takes me to the error page. I went into bios and it was like no hdd was into my laptop. I opened it, moved the hdd and stuff but it still wont recognize it. Can you please help me repair my laptop.

Ps: I have BIOS as my machine is very old (acer aspire 7720) no UEFI.
