Rufus to convert 3 recovery discs onto one USB ?

Can I use Rufus to make a bootable "recovery" USB thumb drive.
I have used Rufus in the past to convert an ISO file to a bootable DVD/CD? disc.

I have 3 Recovery Discs (DVDs/CDs) extracted from my Lenovo e540 recovery partition, in 2015.
At the time Lenovo wizard did not provide copying onto USB.

The Rufus website seems to imply only ISO to discs.
Will Rufus transfer the DVDs/CDs to USB :?:
If not what would you recommend :?:

What capacity USB thumbdrive would I need to hold all 3 discs. :?:

Thank you :)

Hi bawldiggle,

Are you talking about something like this => How To Put Multiple ISO Files In One Bootable USB Disk - Create Multiboot USB Disk.

I hope this helps!

I have 3 recovery discs, not multiple ISO files.

Your suggestion How To Put Multiple ISO Files In One Bootable USB Disk .. looks very helpful if I had ISO files. Noted for future reference when I need it
My Lenovo no longer has a CD/DVD drive; I replaced it with an internal second HDD for data
I planned on using another PC to copy the recovery discs to USB so that I can clean reinstall Win-7 onto this Lenovo

I do have a very budget external USB CD/DVD drive ... BUT ... when the old system detects the recovery discs I suspect the recovery discs will start installing the recovery contents over my existing unstable Win-7.
In fact I want to eventually ditch the current HDD and replace it with a new SSD with the recovered o\s from this Lenov PC

In 2015 I accidentally wiped a registry hive while using free revo uninstaller that is another story on the Lenovo. The Lenovo would not even boot after that. $200 later our local IT shop installed Windows from an ISO file, they had a lot of trouble registering the pc-system with Microsoft. I still have the MS reg key for that setup.
Lenovo factory install (and I presume my recovery discs) had/has/have a lot of Lenovo bloatware and for memory no options to do a custom install. Lenovo are like that ... the only useful tool they include in their install is the Battery Manager, and it can be downloaded and (hopefully) play with a non-Lenovo setup on this Lenovo laptop.

Checked my hoard of legitimate Win-7 PRO OEMs last night only to discover I have 4x 32-bit; and not one 64-bit.
My expertise is limited, and I manage to get other probs. sorted, as slow as I might be. Just use my head to nut it out.

At 73 I don't have any l-o-n-g term aspirations for Win-10. If Win-7 becomes impossible I will be moving over to Linux Mint. 7 years is not that far away, my dad fell of his perch at 79. They are only numbers

Thank you for your help :)

You could make iso images of the recovery discs. Any iso handler will do that. Ashampoo do free versions.

Or you can get the trial version of gburner - it is fully functional for 30 days.
Download gBurner

Or you can use ISO Recorder - CD/DVD-recording tool
