Macrium usb boot issue

I wanted to test the boot process for my Macrium backup - I successfully launched the boot from the usb but when it got to the end a message -- "Locate INF file for network controller" came up. It stated that restore may not work without this file. I have no idea where to find this. Can someone guide me. Thank you.

[1] Are there any yellow warnings in the Device Manager?
[2] Have you checked the Dell website for updates drivers?
[3] Have you checked the Intel website for updates drivers?

Hello patriceltic,

Is this article of any use to you? v5 - Adding drivers to WinPE rescue media (drivers, Windows PE)

It says that there is only a need for a network driver support if you intend backup/restore via a network device - does this reflect your setup?

Hi to all - to the first poster - no to all 3.
to the second poster - i don't think so. I am going to restore from an external Western Digital drive. I read the link as you posted and I don't think any of it applies to me. Agree?

If the Western Digital drive is connected directly to the computers USB port - then I'd probably agree with you. However, if the WD drive is in a NAS enclosure and/or is connected to the router - then there might be cause for concern here.

Yes, it will be connected directly to the pc. After the missing file message came up, the process then moved on to the Reflect page where all the options for restoring etc. are. So I think I will ignore the message based on the info you have provided and trust that the restore will work! Thanks so much.
P.S. There is a box to check on the usb boot creation page - as I recall it says to check for drivers when it creates the boot usb. I think I will uncheck that.

Oh and by the way THANKS TO ALL FOR HELP. Really appreciate.

Macrium Reflect Free--new Edition (6.) issue on boot menu
Ok, I installed the new version of Reflect. One feature I like is that it can create a boot recovery menu. I did this and in fact I tested it. It made me reboot and upon reboot it gave me the choice of booting from W7 or from Reflect (Windows PE 3.0). I would like it to only give me that option...

Macrium Reflect SSD drive clone; disk naming convention/issue...
For starters, the Macrium Reflect Pro cloned my drive flawlessly...couldn't be happier (and to a larger correct partition on my new SSD Samsung 830, 128GB drive). However, in some aspects, I can see in Win7 where the original Disk name 'CDM_Recovery' still pops up. I can't figure out a way...
