About the new issue
How did you try to update the Driver software?
Did you go into Device Manager, and see the Network adaptor there?
Were there any devices in Device Manager that had warning signs next to them (ie, did any device in Device Manager display a Yellow Triangle with an exclamation symbol) ?
It could be that you got to download and install the Network LAN driver from the manufacturers website. You might have to uninstall the Network adaptor first, before proceeding to install the LAN driver software.
yes it did display "display a Yellow Triangle with an exclamation symbol"

I did uninstall the network adaptor but not effect.

lan driver software the Windows not able to detect.

Only way to use another laptop to find the driver software and managed to install it.

That also did not help.

till I search and found out I need to use cmd to fix it.

It worked...

so far so good.

Hope for no new issue came.

Would be doing weekly backup instead of the monthly or longer backup now.
