    FREE tool to merge partitions?

Today I replaced my 120GB SSD with a 240GB one and restored the image I had to the new disk. Problem is that it splitted my new SSD in two 120GB partitions and now I would like to merge them into only one.

I researched online but couldn't find any FREE tool to do that. Could someone point me such tool or it really doesn't exist (free one)?

    Thanks!

What's on the second partition? Nothing? Then just remove the partition and use Disk Management to extend the size of the first partition to encompass the entire disk.

Thank you for the tips but I had already took a look in mostly of them and they are not really free. They just tell you "the selected option is not available in the free version, please pick the paid one"...

No worries. I had checked the EaseUS and Minitool and it happened to me that it told me that the free edition wouldn't be able to do what I wanted. Then I checked AOEMEI and I really didn't bother to download and install because reading the comparison chart in their website seemed to me that it wouldn't do it either. Maybe I misunderstand it.

Anyway, the current issue is solved with the "extend" feature of Windows Disk Management. However I will re-check the three applications above because certainly I will need to do perform the task sooner or later in the future.

    Thanks again!

We are here to try to help. If you don't understand something, please ask. We are more than willing to try to explain it to you or, as I have found very helpful, Video presentations on the specific subject.

EaseUS or AOMEI will extend partitions, or pretty much anything you wish to do with partition management.
    MBR to GPT conversion, etc.
I find these much easier to use than the built in Microsoft tools.
M$ backup and restore is not the best at backing up your data. When you need a system restore or a re imaging of your drive, it fails quite often
