Backup Maker Creates 1 zip file. Is that a vulnerability?

I have 534GB in 7 folders I need to back up from HDD to SSD. As a test, I ran a full backup for 2 of the folders, and it successfully created a single zipped file for each folder's contents. The only reservation I have is if that single zipped file becomes corrupt. Is it safer to copy all the files unzipped, showing all folders, since there isn't a single point of failure? Or, is there a backup program that will copy files to SSD without zipping them?

I'm not seeing that Robocopy is a backup utility, though. I need to run full backups, then incrementally backup every few days.

"...successfully created a single zipped file for each folder's contents..." you can always do that backup routine twice, saving both zip files

Good idea, Roland, however SSD space is a problem. Right now on the SSD, I have the raw unzipped files that I copied over from the HDD AND the single zipped backup file. Then add the second zipped file? If I delete the manually copied files from the SSD, there should be room for 2 zipped files as long its "size on disk" file isn't too large.
