how to extract and reuse recovery partition from dynamic hdd

I was trying to install ubuntu 19.10 as dual boot on my win7 pro system on hp prodesk 405g2pc. somehow i ended up changing the 1tb hdd to a dynamic drive. now it wont boot anything.

as 2nd drive on testing pc, win7 sees it as dynamic, but wont access it.
as 2nd drive on testing pc using ubuntu, ubie does see the drive and sees folders within.

I installed fresh copy of win 7 on a new 1tb hdd on my test pc, and booted ok, with ng hdd connected and also added in 500gb kesu usb drive.

i used easyus part master to copy the recovery partition frm ng hdd to kesu usb hdd.

my problem is, since this kesu copy wasnt made as image bkup, win7 system repair disk doesnt see the kesu partition, and so wont restore it,

So my question is this: having a fresh, booting win7 hdd, and the original hdd now a dynamic drive, and a copy of the original recovery partition on external usb hdd, how can i get the new win7 hdd to be like the original, before i screwed it up?
    thanks for your consideration,
    seekertom

You can use most any free partition software to convert the original HDD back to a basic disk.
Partition Wizard, Partition Assistant, etc.You will have to plug the disk in as an external and boot to another disk to run the software.

I may have other issues with the drive bc i tried to do that with easyus pro and it wouldnt recognize the drive for access.
What I have been able to do so far is use ubuntu to copy the two main partitions I need from the dynamic drive to a fresh drive, even one already running 7, using discs and gparted apps.

So now the issue isnt so much how to copy the partitions as it is how to make use of them once on a running 7 hdd.

In 7, I can see all the folders in the newly copied windows partition, but dunno how I can boot into that partition so I can use the installed sw, and make use of the pc drivers also installed.

Im used to xp where several copies of windows on diff partitions will show up in a bootup menu. I dont see something like this in 7.

There are a few programs in the old setup i need to be using on the new hdd, but dunno how to get there from here.

in addition, i still have the issue of the fact restore partition. I tried the f11 trick but the recovery mgr has all the options grayed out, so im thinking there once was a copy made of those recovery disks, and ms only allows 1 copy. Is there a way around this, having copied the recovery partition to the new hdd also?

    thanks, st

Recovery paritions would have had a key set in normal boot to goto the recovery which is often distroyed by boot sector updates. It depends on the recovery setting it active it will often boot from it and recover some may just have an disk mage and software to restore it like ghost
