Wanting to backup windows 7 along with all drivers and software programs and exact copy!
If i do this can i go to another laptop with no operating system and install this "backup" and have a clone of the other laptop? Do the hard drives have to be the same? The laptops are the same if that makes any difference? Would Hasleo disk clone do this? I saw where you guys had recommended this to someone else

if you are using a disk clone it should work its quicker and safer to put the drive in the pc and clone direct to the new drive its one step less

If you have a SATA to USB cable, you can also avoid opening up the PC and finding a spare bay (if you have one) to fit the blank drive. Some software only works with the maker's SSDs - such as Samsung Data Migration (its free disk clone utility) - this supports Windows 7. Might be worth checking if there's a manufacturer-specific free cloner, before you try some generic software?
