Windows 7: Image your system with free Macrium

I guess this is a stupid question but...

Can I Image a 160GB Drive and Restore it to a 120GB Drive?

I'm using sysprep, and eventually want to do this. I notice that when I Restore the 160GB Drive to a bigger drive, it is placed/imaged as 160GB. So I would assume that the opposite would create an issue, but just don't know?

You can if the used space on the 160 GB drive is less than 120 GB.

@essenbe, well, thank you very much! This will be very helpful to know. I'm mostly Imaging a Windows 7 Clean Install to other drives/computers, so it is much smaller than 120GB. Clearly, I'm wanting to be prepared to use this image on an inexpensive SSD. And, now creating a Windows 8.1 Sysprep Image.
