I may be wrong, but I think the app SIW2 made can be found in post #183 of thos Macrium thread, for the win PE builder.

Imaging with free Macrium

Thanks for that link to post 183.
I downloaded it, unzipped it, ran it, created an ISO, burned the ISO to a CD, and then booted from the CD.
After a few minutes of loading, I came to a nice looking screen with a kitty on a motor scooter--and a double column of buttons which when poked led to certain other apps or windows.
I'm not sure what it all means as regards Macrium. There was no "Macrium" button. The only image-related button led me to Windows own imaging, which I don't use. I'm not sure I should randomly start poking buttons when I don't know the likely result.
But I'm on record as being a dim bulb.
All I know for sure is that the disk created from SIW's app is bootable.
ignatzatsonic, I hope you figure it out or maybe SIW2 will help. But. don't talk about being a dim bulb, you already know more about it than me. But, from reading that thread, Kado may know about it.
I thought that originally, until I recognised the icon.
Try these posts. :)

I assume it is mandatory, if you want Macrium included.
I'll check those links tomorrow---you may well be right about it being mandatory.
Also, let me know exactly what you think this thing is:
A boot disk to access and use particular free versions of Macrium?
A boot disk to access and use all free versions of Macrium?
Does the disk need to be remade if I upgrade to a new version of Macrium?
Works regardless of what version of Macrium I used to make the image file to be restored??
May not work with Windows 7 Service Pack 2, 3, or?
etc etc, inquiring minds want to know.
