I am glad that you like it. Once you get more into it, you will really appreciate it. I am not sure regarding the emails - reading is OK but typing is another story. Works better in landscape mode.

When you put stuff on the SD card, use MP3s for music. Pictures in jpg or png are no problem. It is useful to give the pics a name because you will not see icons on the Pocket File Manager. I also have a lot of PowerPoint shows on my SD card - they work well except where I use my trick 22 with the WAV headers on MP3 files.

One thing which I also did is make a WordPad document with all my URLs that I want to use - radio and TV stations and alike. Put those into Documents and can start the pages from there.

Upload is at 60%. We are getting there. This is the URL if you want to check later:

I have no idea what that post above yours is , Wolfgang .

Macrioum ( and several others) used to make you d/l the giant waik.wadk . Now they are able to d/l just some of it. Smaller download, but still not exactly tiny.

I don't know why they bother. It will be needed for Vista and earlier, but If you are using win7/8x you already have a much better winpe on your drive, and you have dism. The only other thing needed is a program to create iso files. Mkisofs or oscdimg will do. Mkisofs is open source, and oscdimg can be downloaded from MS on it's own , only a few hundred kb.

That is what I use for my little winpe makers - you will get something much better than the thing macrium makes.

SIW, I'm running Windows 7 and windows 8 in a VM installed on another hard drive. Should it be installing the Windows 8 win RE? That's what it did. I didn't notice whether the Win 7 RE was installed.

It picks up whichever winre is on the F8 recovery options for the current os . i.e the os you are booted into.. It finds it from the bcd entry.

There is something odd about win8x. I have both tried both bit versions, and the newer ( 32 bit ) install strangely decided to use the same bcd entry as the earlier ( 64 bit ) one, resulting in 64 bit 8.1 winre being called by F8.

I don't have that problem on on win7 though.

So, if you ran the program from within win7 - and you got win8 winre, that means win8 has hijacked your win7 F8 "repair my computer" thing. I have no idea how that happened.

This is what it looks for

    for /f "usebackq tokens=1,2 delims={} " %%G in (`bcdedit.exe /enum {current} ^| find "recoverysequence"`) do set WREGUID=%%H

SIW, It worked very well. That is one cool program. I'm not sure what you can't do with it. Thanks, it's great.
