    Norton online backup retrieval

    Howdies,

I know this has absolutely nothing to do with win7 but you guys rock so I thought I'd ask here first.

When I installed win7 my norton 360 sub had expired so instead of having to pay the extra to renew (70 squid) I decided to rebuy the download (40 squid). However my mother paid for it so it got registered in her name instead of mine and now I can't access my online back up so I can retrieve me iTunes folder (which I forgot to back up manually before upgrading). There is an option to change email address when U are on the log into norton account screen but then it tells you the product is registered to someone else so tough ... lol

    Any ideas appreciated

    Doo x

    Im not sure.
I think your best bet in this situation is Symantec themselves, and quite honestly, probably the only one who can help at this point..

I'm sure they can get something worked out for you.

Yeah they helped pretty well actually which I was surprised with. Even refunded the cost of having to purchase sub for Norton Online Backup (which is not the same as the one with 360 for those who don't already know cause I didn't :P) and gave me my activations back. +1 for norton support... -1 for norton sales lol
