    System Restore on Windows 7


    Just wanted to let everyone know that I completed a successful restore on Windows 7 Build 7000. However, when I booted back up, I could not get a valid network connection. The Network dialogue showed two unidentified networks, and I had no inet connection. Upon going to device manager and uninstalling the LAN adapter, then scanning for new devices to reinstall, everything was back to normal. Just a heads up.

    Glad to hear it. You may want to look over some information provided to someone else having problems on the 7000 build with that in the thread there.

    Since the beta won't create too many on it's own there's a few options for seeing that done more frequently especially when dual booting with XP. The same problem seen with Vista/XP dual boots seems to have been passed along to 7 as well.
