    System Image Problem

When I create a system image it insists on including 2 disks; my system disk and a data disk. There is definitely nothing on the data disk that is system related. Can anyone offer suggestion/solutions as to why this is happening?
    Thanks

    Welcome!

A system image is a complete backup of your entire hard drive. I have never stored backups to a disc before, but I would believe that is normal.

    Hope this helps,

Just some advice. I was not able to create a system image on a DVD, everything jammed up. Several posters have mentioned the same problem

If there are problems storing on the disc, there may be problems reinstalling. You may want to use another medium to store, your important information.

I and many others have used and trust, Paragon. You may want to look into it. Its free and very good. I have my backup on DVD. Im in the market for an external Hard Drive.

I back up to an external hard drive. It is fast and easy - well worth the investment.

    Thanks guys
I actually have another hard drive that does not get automatically included in the system image. So I have 3 physical drives as follows:

    Drive 1 - System
    Drive 2 - Data
    Drive 3 - Data

The system image backs up Drive 1 & Drive 2 but not Drive 3. I get the option to include Drive 3 but as both data drives are quite large I don't want them included in a system image. I back the data up separately.
My backups do go to an external hard drive.

    Thanks gain for your help.

Are you using Windows 7 built in tool and have you considered using other free products that lack this confusion?
