    Backup Issue


    Hello,


    For the first time i want to backup my computer, i go to backup&restore
    and press on make a backup, the system doesn't show my hard drive( i have two hard drive 1.System (OS) 2. HD with 1TB.
    It's only show my CD drive.

    If you would right click "My Computer" and click "manage" then go to "disk management" and post that window here, we may be able to help.

    I think the "E" disk "Programs" is not showing up there because it's "System"

    This means you have programs that interact with Windows 7 on it so it will not let you back up tot he same disk.

    If you create a partition on the disk 1 and give it a drive letter (create new simple volume) Windows backup will then let you use the new partition. You will need to shrink the E drive so you have unallocated space then create a new simple volume. It should work then.
