That's because the 7068 is coming off of a torrent site not the original public beta page for the 7000s. "Someone" don't want "someone else" getting feedback of certain things apparently since that would reflect any hacks seen. This is why the only build receiving any support is still the 7000 at Technet there.
Yes it's very well known that 7000 is the only beta with support.

It may be a problem, but try running this anyway, go to the start menu and type cmd and then right click on the icon and run as administrator, once you have opened command prompt type sfc /scannow and hit enter, this will start a scan of your system files and it will try to repair any corrupt ones, if it finds any restart the computer and see if you can create a restore point.
If that fails you may want to try and enable the send feedback option again and if doesn't help then you could try a Repair Install or you could just upgrade to one of the newer builds, allot of people are still saying that build 7048 has been the best so far.
I went ahead and took your advice and upgraded to x64 of build 7048. I did a clean install instead of a upgrade.
Hi. I'm using 500GB hdd(source) and 500GB ssd(destination) and I've some questions:
1. I Did 1:1 copy of disc (in norton GHOST) and on destination disk system restore is telling that i don't have restore points. Why?
2. Then On source disc I was trying to unlock some disc space by entering System...
My questions are on Windows 7 System Restore, Restore Points and Backups; specifically, potentially using a Backup as a Permanent Restore Point.
Here is the situation...
About a month ago, I did a complete Factory Restore on my HP desktop and returned it to it's factory condition. After...
For some reason my System Restore function isn't automatically creating (or isn't showing) System Restore points as it should be doing for "major" system events (e.g., isn't automatically creating restore points before/after Windows Updates and software/driver updates). I'm not sure if it isn't...
I have 8gb of space allocated to System Restore, all monitoring my C partition only. This space is always at least 85-90% used according to the System Protection screen. In the past I have had at least 15 restore points to choose from after ticking "show more restore points." But today I went to...
