System Restore and Nod32
Everytime I try to use System Restore since switching to Win 7 (clean install) from XP I get an error saying an antivirus may be effecting the use of system restore.
I'm not sure what I am doing wrong since switching to Win 7.
Most times I try to use System Restore I get a message that there are no restore points set (I hope to eventually set an initial restore point and let them accumulate for 3 months or so). I then create a new restore point and three days later when I try to use system restore again I am told that "No changes have been made to your system--an anti virus may be affecting the result".
I have an old mirror image to go back to if needed but can't figure out what is going on with system restore.
I've tried disabling NOD32 in msconfig but that doesn't seem to be the answer. I'd like to test system restore by creating a restore point one day and then restore to that point three days later. Everytime I try this I get "no changes have been made to your computer". I just don't know why it isn't working I'm using NOD32 (4) and Outpost ver 6.7 firewall.
Thanks for any suggestions! :)
