    backup problems


    my backup won't work any more from 1 day to another

    i keep my backup on a usb hdd from 1 terra byte (+-600giga free space)
    i use the automatic backup from windows 7 every day at 12am

    it's keep telling me that there's not enough space to make a shadow copy

    what can i do about it?

    I assume you use Windows7 imaging - forget it. It is very unreliable. Use Free Macrium - that works 100%.

I can not understand what is happening with windows backup. The instructions given are not clear. They ask for a label to be written on the backup disk. Is this a physical label makes it sound that my computer can read writing???

I am getting the message that Backup skipped backing up d:\ as it is on the backup target. I have formatted the usb flash drive that I am using for backup and still the message comes up. Does anyone know how to tell the computer I don't want this on the backup target? Thanks

OMG. I'm trying to use TDK DVDs to backup data to free space off my hard drives. I thought I knew how these worked but maybe you can help. First, here's what's on the front of the DVDs I'm using. Left side says TDK|DVD+R. The right side of the DVD says |1-16x|4.7GB|RW. I'm pretty sure the RW means...
