I was looking at Mozy.com to do a full backup of my laptop's contents. I figure that W7 is a good excuse to do a nice cleanup. Has anyone used Mozy with windows 7? Is there anything that I am missing that will prevent me from doing this?
Just wanted to make sure before I buy into Mozy for this sole purpose.
Isn't it just a website or does it require some kind of software? I personally wouldn't trust anything like that. Save yourself the subscription fees and get a USB stick and dump your stuff onto it.
I usually make a small partition of about 50GB. then I use Acronis True Image, and make a FULL BACKUP and keep the backup there...
when all fails, insert the boot disk Acronis ask for, then use the FULL backup to reinstall @ 100% , remove the disk, reboot to appropiate OS'.
Fast , Simply, Easy and almost fool proof.
backup size for
C:\ Vista SP2 - 20.5 GB
C:\ full size is 50.2 GB..
